The
Kindlelab Project is a consortium of educational designers, developers, thought leaders, and teachers working together to ensure open source and 3D immersive educational tools find their way into the K-12 educational setting.
The
Kindlelab Project consortium goal is to be an open source solutions provider for K-12 institutions wanting to deploy 3D immersive education and virtual world learning environments. Consortium actions will include creating software, hardware, conceptual knowledge and generating white paper reports on the subject of 3D virtual worlds in K-12 education. All consortium software, hardware, and white paper designs are considered public domain works.
